The bell at the top of the screen opens Notifications. A red badge on the bell shows how many notifications you haven't read.
Read notifications
Tap a notification to mark it as read and open the page it links to. Tap Mark all read to mark them all as read at once.
Turn on push alerts
Push alerts notify you on your phone even when the Staff App isn't open.
- In Notifications, under Push Alerts, tap Enable Push Alerts.
- Allow notifications when your browser asks.
When push alerts are on, the app shows "Real-time push alerts are active." They're set up for each device, so turn them on on every phone you use.
If the app shows Permissions are currently blocked., you have blocked notifications for the Staff App in your browser. Open the lock or settings icon in the browser's address bar and set Notifications to Allow. Whether alerts appear on the lock screen, and with which content, depends on your phone's notification and Focus settings.
The Staff App has no setting to mute individual kinds of alerts. To stop alerts, block notifications for the app in your browser.
Notification chime
The app plays a chime when a message arrives. Browsers only allow sound after you've interacted with the page, so the chime can be muted at first. Under Notification Chime, tap Test Chime to switch the sound on and check it.
